Hello CSU Bakersfield Career Services and Computer Science!


My name is Jake and I?m a University Specialist here at Google on our
University Programs team. Thank you for a great partnership last year! In an
effort to continue to grow Google?s outreach to tech students at CSU
Bakersfield, we are debuting an interactive YouTube live streaming series
called ?Applying to Google? with select universities this fall. We would like 
to
cordially invite your students to join us!


In addition to the YouTube Live series (all the info below) I would love to
see if you are open to hosting a Google Engineer on campus this fall
semester. If there are certain dates that work well for your school's
schedule I'd love to know so we can begin planning.

Here?s all the info you need to market the YouTube Live series:


Series Overview

  *

     What: Each week students will have two opportunities to tune in to a
     live event with Googlers (engineers, technical recruiters, former
     interns, and more). We will cover everything from how to make a
     technical resume standout to what a day in the life of a Google engineer
     really looks like. Each event will have a live Q&A element so your
     students can ask any questions they may have. Each week has two of the
     same event on different days, just in case students are busy on one of
     them.

     Why: We want to set your students up for success during their internship
     or full time application and interview process, and ultimately hope to
     see more of your students at Google.

  *

     Who?s Invited: Any tech-related students (Computer Science Majors,
     Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics with a CS
     minor, etc.) are welcome.

  *

     Where: Students can join from any anywhere! They simply need access to
     YouTube.

What's YouTube Live?
