Subject: VEX California State Championship in Bakersfield

Hi,

I hope the new year finds you well and keeping dry on this wet Tuesday morning.

On Saturday, March 5th we will host one of three California State VEX Robotics
Championship Events at the Kern County Fair Grounds.  I would love to have some of your
summer workshop folks help as Judges and referees.  I have detailed position descriptions
for all technical and non technical positions needed for the day.

We will run 4 separate divisions including VRC High School, VRC Middle School, IQ Middle
School and IQ Elementary School.

  Technical Positions

Robot Inspectors

Referees

Judges

Tournament Manager Software Operators

Skills Field Manager

Non Technical Positions

Team Check In

Volunteer Check In

Team Queuing

Field Reset

Volunteering at the event is a great way to learn about the program first hand and the
impact it has on the students who have been involved.

I will also be at the local competition at the fair grounds this Saturday.  If you are
available the event is free and open to the public.

All my best,

-Nancy Mc
